I’ve been reading a lot about AI recently. Many of my friends in IT and coding are struggling to find jobs. This seemed impossible just a few years ago when companies were overpaying them. But times have changed.
This video helped me rethink my career, and I want to share it with you.
If you don’t have time to watch, here is a quick summary:
1. The Impact of AI on Jobs
- No more “stable jobs”: AI is quickly mastering standard skills, meaning the era of the guaranteed “stable life” is over.
- All jobs are at risk: AI tools can now replace smart office workers (like math coaches), while humanoid robots will soon replace factory workers.
- The traditional school system is failing: Working hard for 20 years just to get high exam scores won’t guarantee a job anymore, leading to a major mental health crisis.
- Trust is the new currency: Companies desperately need highly trusted, incorruptible humans to keep AI systems safe from hacking and failures.
2. Practical Strategies for the Future
- Master fluent English: Speaking English at a high level helps you break out of local limits and opens up global opportunities.
- Solve “weird” problems: AI easily solves standard textbook problems. You must learn to think on the spot and solve unpredictable challenges.
- Show genuine care: Robots don’t have empathy. Having an authentic desire to help humanity makes you special and highly employable.
- Build high-trust networks: Stop relying on test scores. Connect with thoughtful people who love to help; this network can bring you global remote work.
- Be an entrepreneur: Question the standard system. Find people’s pain points, solve them, and create your own path.
Times are changing fast. It’s no longer just about what you know, but how you adapt, who you trust, and how much you care. Stay curious!
